About Me

My Story
Hi there!
Let me introduce myself. My name is Ellen.
I’m a technical writer by trade and by temperament—detail-oriented, methodical, and genuinely content spending my days organizing complex information into documents that actually make sense. Technical writing tends to choose its people; it takes a certain kind of brain to enjoy strict document control, versioning, formatting rules, and precision. Luckily, that’s exactly where I thrive.
My work sits at the intersection of structure and storytelling. I understand document layout, compliance requirements, and the importance of consistency, but I also recognize that technical documentation doesn’t live in a vacuum. Marketing and technical content work best when they support one another—clear, well-designed documentation builds trust just as much as good messaging does.
I’m technically minded, but creatively wired, which is why this work keeps me engaged. Outside of client projects, you’ll usually find me gardening, crafting, or deep into a DIY project—activities that mirror how I approach my work: thoughtful planning, hands-on problem solving, and satisfaction in building something useful from the ground up.
I take pride in producing documentation that’s accurate, usable, and quietly polished—the kind of work that does its job so well, most people don’t even notice it.
